Ali MacGraw

Ali attended Wellesley College where she majored in art history. She worked for magazines that focused on fashion upon her graduation. The model career began as a result of her love for fashion photography. It was a field that continued through 1968, when her husband Steve McQueen's marriage, she began her film career later. The films she made generally were either extremely successful or failed. Today the former actress lives within New Mexico in a modest way. In the wake of her surprise success in Love Story (70), her debut starring part I can't imagine that feeling of being appreciated by all the world at once, and being greeted by people who comment on the haircut you wear every time you walk down the street. Through the years I've come to realize that to survive stardom you have take your time and learn about your own self and stop defining you by what people think. Nothing can be prepared for that kind of avalanche. This is not the time to believe that the avalanche is the final event.
