Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. She gained the attention of the world in the year 2010 by releasing her hit singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses," British vocalist Ellie Goulding quickly climbed to the top of the charts with her infectious electronic pop sound. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding's soprano quirk and capacity to create catchy and emotional songs put her at the forefront for popular music of the present in addition to an independent and artful pop. Polydor Records signed her to a record label deal and she started preparing for the launch of her debut album.
