Niykee, who has had an eventful few years, including being selected by Snoop to join Snoop at the YouTube Brandcast May 2013 Niykee has a regular songwriting routine despite this. Songwriting is a source of inspiration for aspiring producers. Niykee listens constantly to beats and finds many which spark thoughts. She says that she can discern if a beat is a good one in less than five minutes. After that, a fresh song will pop into her mind. I go out to my front porch and play my guitar and the words just come and usually it's completed in less than 30 minutes. Niykee's past pain can be a constant source of inspiration as she develops as an author. She says that even when she's not writing about the things which were actually taking place, all of her pain due to her childhood and the losing her younger sister finds it's way into her music. It influences my lyrics and gives them a deeper significance. To me, it is the most important factor for success.
