Sharp is a Rochester area native who studied clarinet at the Hochstein School of Music. Also, she played piano and cello. Sharp's love for theater in high school was what led her to the Boston Conservatory, where she was given a scholarship. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp decided to go into theatre after graduating Cum Laude with the B.F.A. She performed in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel, debuted Off-Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. Other theatrical productions include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp was a co-reader with playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp also has other projects in the works alongside her projects for screen and stage. Sharp is working on her first full-length album for studio work. Sharp has a habit of being on camera, behind it as well as in the studio for music, also enjoys staying fit. Sharp studies Krav Maga along with boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, walk and go on a lengthy road trips. Sharp lives with her spouse and two children living in Los Angeles.
